The Story Behind Folds of Honor
Founded in 2007 by Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney, Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization that supports our nation’s heroes and their families. Through educational scholarships, Folds of Honor helps the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military and first responders pursue their educational dreams. This cause is particularly close to our hearts as we recognize these brave individuals and their families’ sacrifices.
A Community Connection
Our partnership with Folds of Honor aligns with our community-focused approach. Columbia, SC, is a Military town with Fort Jackson, an Army base covering over 51,000 acres. Many individuals retire here and choose to stay, further solidifying the ties between our company and the military community. Additionally, we have had the privilege of servicing esteemed military members, including the late Iron Horse General who ran Fort Jackson.
